I am having some huge iron problems also:

Here is my labwork i got from the 7th.

TIBC 584 (221-371)

cell morph 3+ (normal)

HGB 11.1 (11.5-15.4)

HCT 34.1 (34.3-45.0)

Platelet Count 658 (140-440)

B-12 145 (211-911)

Cloride 109 (98-108)

Ferritin 5 (11-307)

Zinc 152 (70-150)

Opinions ? How bad is this....I feel like crap and they just put me

on Iron pills, how much by experience would you take and what about

B-12 shots ?

I have heard members on this list say that they take iron on an empty

stomac. Do you have any problems doing this? I have never, ever been able to

take iron on an empty stomac. I have to at least have a cracker or a couple

of bites of something. If I don't...I get sick!
