Guest guest
Really?? Ensure has milk in it though, doesn't it? I have only bought boost or no-name so far (I am trying to get used to them before surgery=) And I know there's milk in those brands although it's lactose free ~ I pay attention to the ingred's b/c I'm lactose intolerant. Hopefully I won't be on the " clear " diet for very long ~ maybe soy milk is okay to drink, anybody else try this? I will be sure to ask my surgeon, but since I won't see him until the pre-op and be stuck in the hospital for 3 days I am feeling desperate about what I will be able to drink while I'm there?! > > > > > > I recently read that after surgery you can only drink clear > > liquids > > > for a while ~ could someone tell me how long this is for? Guest guest
Nope. Ensure doesn't have milk. I haven't looked at the ingredients in a long time, but unless I am much mistaken it is not a dairy product. I don't know about Boost. Call the doc's office and ask whoever answers the phone. Either that person can give you the answer, or should be able to find someone who can. It's not unreasonable to want to know what to buy while you can still get out to do it, and docs are there, at least in part, and have office staffs to help with just such things that they know all about and we don't!
