I'm sorry, but what all is included in a " kit " ? I don't know about

bringing broth or soup as I have no way to cook it! Hopefully it

will only be 2 days like you, I should be okay with juice in that

case ~ I guess I'll just have to see?!

Hereabouts hospitals have refrigerators available to store special

foods and drinks, as long as they're on the patient's diet. And I

believe there are usually microwaves available to heat things up,

too.

They may be keeping count of your liquid intake and output, so be

sure you let them know what you're doing and ask first if it's ok,

and if they will help you with it. (Although that's where a personal

attendant comes in handy, as most nurses already have quite enough on

their plates.
