Guest guest
Can't help you out with an ortho and/or surgeon, but your general dentist should be able to. If you don't have a dentist, you need to get one in any case. Meantime, why not ask friends and family, assuming that you have some there? Many adults will have children who've had braces, or have had wisdom teeth out, or both. As for the rest of it, it's a pretty familiar story. I didn't suck on a finger, but I did have ortho as a child. In my case, they didn't know as much about matching up the jaws back then. Additionally, nobody suggested that I get my wisdom teeth out early enough, and they pretty well messed up what the first ortho had done. You also may well have grown since you were 15, and perhaps more on one side than on another. You may see some faces that remind you of your own, if you look around a bit in the photos section. Chances are that an excellent ortho and surgeon can help you out, but it takes a while, can be expensive, and isn't a lot of fun along the way. Just be sure you have now finished growing before anybody does surgery on you! Best, Cammie > > Hey everyone, hoping you could help me out.
