Not sure which website you are referring to, but Vioxx has their own website, and it says: " IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT VIOXX. People with allergic reactions, such as asthma, to aspirin or other arthritis medicines should not take VIOXX. In rare cases, serious stomach problems, such as bleeding, can occur without warning. " My surgeon received information from the manufacturer telling him that Vioxx should not be given to any patients with any form of stomach surgery, and he stopped me from continuing to use it pre-op and post-op.
