Your post was a very emotional read. I pray that everything will come out ok for

you and you will continue with a better life. Could you please recap just what

happened to you to cause 3 surgeries in 2 years etc? And did they drop you in

the hospital? OMG---I hope not. If they did this, they are liable for some of

your problems and should PAY dearly for this. No excuse in dropping a patient.

Let us know more. Maybe writing to the Graduate list will help you too. You are

thought of here.

Has anyone seen the Hover Mat? I was looking at it again today with

in mind. I'm thinking, had they had such a thing, he mighta just walked out

that door 3 yrs ago.

It's like an air mattress. The pt lies on it, pre-op, hopefully, and it

stays there. It inflates in about 10 secs, and Don & I moved a 200# kid

with no effort! You need 2 to hold the ends but not the weight. Amazing!

Then it deflates in about as long. When the pt is able to get up, you remove

it.

As one who had to do the backward crab crawl while preferring to be totally

out, I can say I really wish this thing had been around sooner!
