Hi " rymi48 "

At 9 days I do feel physically ,quite a bit better, I'm doing alot

more puttering about .....still sore and swollen and startin to crave

real food...

I keep standing there looking into the fridge.,torturing myself,

cause all the good stuff won't go in my mouth,so it aint going to

happen......

Actually I got a good look at the bands as the fear of playing around

with my numb swollen lip is diminishing and it appears that I am

banded from my eye teeth all the way back, in several locations ...

Ive got pictures but I would need my kid to show me how to post

them......

They broke my lower jaw in 3 places, and moved it back about 6 ml and

then moved my chin forward ....

I assume it is easier and more accurate for the surgeon to use

plates and screws to fix it in position right there and then, without

the possibility of things shifting, before he can get it banded(thats

my theory)....

They are made of titanium, so they tell me I won't light up the metal

detectors at the airport.....

I have to go to see my surgeon tommorrow afternoon ,I think he is

going to loosen off the bands a bit, which will give me a little more

freedom , not sure though, I will let you know tommorrow night....

ttyl
