That has to be better than suffering like that. Thanks for the thought, Judie. I think that the lithotripsy is for larger stones such as are in the gall bladder and not for kidney stones. Anyway, they generally pass OK by themselves, and if a pain killer like Percoset is taken, it's bearable. My greatest fear, given that it was on my right side, was that it could be a strangulated intestine.
