Other people have to wait a number of months before adding something like that in. I wouldn't recommend lentils (as prepared in BTVC) in the early days. Guest guest
I am at 7 months now and have just gotten broccoli and cauliflower back and asparagus seems OK, too. I'm so pleased I will try an artichoke one of these days. I haven't felt I dared try lentils or indeed anything like legumes yet. (The other night DH fixed green peas for himself and they smelled so nauseating to me I could hardly believe it!) On the other hand I never had a bit of trouble with carrots in any form, as Marilyn did. lentils, as a legume, can be an advanced food, something you don't want to tackle until some healing has taken place.
