Diet Vanilla Coke!! You too huh??? Before Surgery I was a Diet Coke addict.

After surgery the carbonation bothered me and then when it didn't the taste of

Diet Coke just wasn't the same. But Diet VANILLA Coke is a whole other

ballgame.

My rule is that I don't buy any thing larger than a single bottle at a time and

don't bring it in the house unless I am finishing what I started already.

(Another words, I don't keep it on hand. Just treat myself occasionally). It is

a real treat to me.

My attitude is that we are eating so little after surgery that what we enjoy is

worth it. Surgery is making moderation possible for once in my life.

Nah, I'm with you, hon. I couldn't drink natural juice if someone held a knife

to me -- makes me dump too hard (natural sugars hit me every bit as hard as good

old white stuff.) Haven't had a glass of anything other than the occasional V-8

in 3 years, and I go easy on that as it's so acidic. If I'm going to drink

something other than water, it will be Crystal Light or SF Tang, or I will be

totally bad and drink diet soda (I have become seriously addicted to Diet

Vanilla Coke, and always did love Diet Dr. Pepper.)

Not to worry! We're not all perfect!
