I just scrub thoroughly with hot water when I buy it, and then use it or freeze the rest and take out what I want next time. I use the whole thing except small bits that seem wrinkled or something. Hi everyone! I had a question regarding the ginger tea. Do you remove the brownish skin from the ginger? Are you supposed to use the center portion that is hard?
