Guest guest
There has been some discussion recently about Welch’s grape juice because it is now made from concentrate, according to the label. At the time Elaine approved it Welch’s was not made from concentrate, but like many other manufacturers, recipes and formulas change. Elaine did mention in BTVC that we should avoid juices made from concentrates… Elaine’s website hasn’t been updated in several years, and since she is no longer here, we can’t expect a definitive answer on this issue. I would treat Welch’s grape juice with caution, perhaps try to find another brand that isn’t made from concentrate. Certainly this is something you can pull from your menu if you or your children aren’t healing, or begin to exhibit new or worse symptoms. If I remember the gist of our recent discussion, we didn’t come to any definitive statements about Welch’s grape juice, just a caution. It might or might not be tolerated, might or might not cause problems over the long-term. All depends on the individual. Kim M.
