Guest guest
Ppsssttttttttt......hey! !! Ssshhhhhhh - do NOT tell anyone else your account of breezing through surgery! And the part about eating hardily soon after surgery. And ESPECIALLY the part about male nurses and dirt bikes! Ya' see, - it's a little like a woman who has given birth a week ago and she is already thin and looking well rested and wearing make-up. Most of the rest of us want to KILL her! LOL A few years back I had carpal tunnel syndrom that resulted in surgery. Everything went well, and I felt just fine with no pain or nausea. (After having @ 10 surgeries with various degrees of pain, suffering and nausea, it was so unexpected!). When I awoke in recovery I had this HUGE bandage and sling on and it looked so impressive and I was soooo pampered! I admit to waiting two days before letting my hubby tell people that I was just fine, had no pain and have been cured forever, (or at least so far - 3 years later)! I then accused the Dr of collecting fees and that he didn't actually do any surgery! LOL Seriously, I am sooo happy for you that all went so well with no complications or even minor glitches of most surgery. Prayers for your hook-up to go just as spectacularly!!! ) Jackie
Guest guest
Sounds like you are having quite a time of it. I'm so sorry that you feel so awfull!!!! I'm really glad that you found this group. For me this group has more of less been my road to recovery!!! The information is wonderful and the people...THE BEST!!!! You will find information, compassion and make some of the best friends you possibly can here!!! There are many types of doctors out there and many can make a diagnosis! You might try an Internal Medicine Group. They are like detectives of sort. I finally got a second opinion with a Neurologist of all people! Now after years I'm getting somewhere! (not sure as to exactly where? but, somewhere) I finally found a doctor that is not presuming or deciding that it is all in my head! I realize that my situation is a little extreme and most likely you will be able to get help much faster! They must be taking you seriously enough to do bloodwork and the positive ANA is a good start! Please hang in there and know that your new friends are here when you need us and we are all pulling for you!!!! Take care and know how glad we all are that you found us!!!!! I had my Flue shot as I always do ands till came down with the flue this year which felt terrible but I feel it could have been worse had I not had my shot. 3 days after I was done with that I had a terrible sinus pressure and draining that made me miserable! I had sinusitis and had to take an antibiotic. During this time my son, his wife and all 3 of my baby granddaughters had bronchitis, my 9 year old had sinusitis and my 14 year old had the flue... Our local news channels are saying the hospitals and clinics are swamped with patients that with all of the above. My office has had at least 3 people a week out for one of the above. Of course we now have all the pollen falling everywhere and one day its 30 degrees, the next its 80. So yes people ... please do not ignore any of these nasty little bugs. Just to let others know, please do not " ignore " a cold with coughing, especially if you run a temp. I had taken 2 rounds of antibiotics, and then ran a fever. When I finally got to the doctor 24 hours later, he was upset that I had waited so long. He stuck me in the hospital for IV antibiotics and breathing treatments. Guest guest
Hi , It is wonderful to hear from you. I thot I was cured also. Last year I stopped the minocin and by March I had a major flare. Started back on minocin with no success (I want it now!)so I decided to get Clindy antibiotics again. They are amazing for me and I have had 3 at docs office (out of pocket) and now I am getting them as out patient in hospital insurance is paying. My doc and Ethel also suggested cleansing. So I did the parasites and just finished the intestinal. Trying to decide on what oral chelation to do. I will look into this. But first I want to do yeasts. I have always taken supplement for the colon (good bugs) and antifungals but hey you never can tell about those nasty fungal bugs(grinning). Good luck and keep us up to date with your AP and chelation. Hugs, cooky Re: IV chelation This has been costly; I go to a non participating doctor who gives me the IV EDTA chelation in the office. Actually, the physician's assistant who is very knowledgeable gives it to me. I submit the paperwork to my insurance company and about 40% is picked up by the insurance company. You spoke of colon therapy, and I also go down to the Edgar Cayce Health Clinic in Virginia Beach, VA twice a year for their lymph cleanse package which consists of a castor oil pack, a colonic, and a lymph massage - of course, not covered by insurance. In doing some research, I'm wondering if oral chelation a along with antibiotic therapy is not the way to go. As some may know, I was on AP and got off of it, since I thought I was cured. I have an appointment late October with a Dr Hoffman in Richmond, VA in hope of going back on AP. Has anyone been to him? For those who want to look further at the oral chelation (cheaper than the IV chelation) along with antibiotics, go to http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC1393226 Wishing you well, [
Guest guest
How do you get the Cliny intravenous in hospital? How does a doctor justify it? Guest guest
My doc called the hospital and said I have a chronic mycoplasma infection. I was tested in1997 and was positive for Hominis. I called medicare and made sure it would be paid for. They said because it is a medicine I cannot give myself at home it will be covered. I used to do mine at home but doc would not let me this time because of his insurance (grrrr). cooky From: rheumatic [mailto:rheumatic ] On Behalf Of phine Bradshaw Sent: Wednesday, September 22, 2010 3:43 PM rheumatic Subject: Re: rheumatic How do you get the Cliny intravenous in hospital?
