Guest guest
Thanks for your note. We saw Mark Fisher at Children's for the femur/spica cast (I believe he is also with orthopaedic consultants), then at Gillette for the tibia fracture/walking cast. wants to see us again in April for clubfeet follow-up. Last time we saw him Calvin was getting a cast cut off so he isn't really aware yet that there are some concerns with the foot of the leg that has been twice broken. It was actually Ponseti who told us last week that he may need the anterior tendon transfer surgery ( " simple surgery " as he put it, but not so simple to me). Yes we are back in the shoes at night per Ponseti's recommendation and he is tolerating it well. But he also told us to wait and see, so I guess that's what we'll do. We'll be back to in April for follow-up on this end to see what he has to say, I guess to get as many opinions as possible, so maybe we'll come see you, too, if it gets to that!
