I googled and some say USNEA is an immune stimulant. Sorry about that.

What helps me is to use a cool mist humidifier and put drops of oil of cajeput and peppermint into the water. Then I breath the mist and hold it in my lungs as long as possible. A neti pot might do the same. For the sore throat, gargle with warm sea salt water several times a day. I make a nasal spray using sea salt and warm distilled water. It's very helpful. I would have suggested Elderberry but I googled and they consider it an immune stimulant, too. ;o(

Musinex would be helpful in combination with the Oil of Cajeput, Five Oils, cool mist humidier, and salt water gargled.

Oil of Oregano?

I think I have a cold, since my sinuses felt all clogged yesterday and

I woke up with a horrid sore throat this morning. I don't really want

it to turn into anything, so my question is: do you think I should

take oil of oregano to help fight it off? I've never taken it before,

and I wasn't sure how it would work with me being on an

immunosuppressant. Does it help fight viruses/bacteria by

strengthening your immune system (which would be counterproductive, it

seems like) or by actually killing the bacteria/virus/fungus itself?

Any other advice on how to get rid of a cold/sore throat is

appreciated! Since I'm in school I can't go on full intro foods, but I

drink a big mug of broth every day. Any other tips?

THanks!

Peace =)
