Guest guest
Hey , you just might be on a plateau. Here's how my weight loss has gone so far: Date Weight Total Lost 01/02/01 374 01/23/01 327 47 02/12/01 319 55 03/06/01 314 60 03/13/01 305 69 03/20/01 306 68 04/03/01 300 74 05/07/01 286 88 05/29/01 282 92 06/05/01 277 98 06/19/01 274 100 07/05/01 266 108 07/17/01 260 114 08/09/01 259 115 08/24/01 256 118 08/29/01 255 119 09/06/01 254 120 09/13/01 250 124 09/26/01 247 127 In the first 3 weeks I lost 47 lbs., then 'boom'- no loss for 2 weeks. Then I started to lose pretty steady (but a lot slower than at first) at around 10 lbs/month. At 6 months I reached my goal of 50% excess weight lost. Then for the next 8 weeks I lost only 6 lbs. But I think my plateau has broken 'cause I've lot 7 lbs. in the last 3 weeks. Give it a little more time before you decide your surgery has failed. Keep up the good work!
