The way I feel is why announce your personal business to the entire world who really does not care about it at all. The fact is that for the rest of our lives we won't be able to eat to the capacity that we once could ( well some will still try to force the issue and make their new system behave like the old one). Just do like I do order the meal and take the dang doggy bag back to your room, eat some later or someone in your family will polish it off for you, or I know this is difficult just eat what you can and throw the rest away. Having grown up in an eat everything off your plate culture I now find it not difficult at all to simply either save it for later, share it, or throw it away with no guilt. I am now 11 months out from my RNY and look amazing if I say so myself. I have always been confident it is just now my body is getting back to the way it origionally was before pregnancy and self pity set in. Just live your life and eat responsibly and pick foods you know others can polish off for you if need be Lori Anne in NYC soon to be in Colorado for good Gastric Bypass RNY July 25, 2004 293 before surgery 274 day of surgery 210 current weight but people think I look to be 1501bs that is so cool LOL!! Guest guest
I am sure that for them it is all about how much money that they can make. If they charge you the full amount they can make more of a profit. It sucks, but so many places are just looking at the numbers and not what they should ethically do. Good luck.
