Guest guest
ee, Isn't it great when you know you've really communicated with them? That is wonderful that he was able to tell you that was the problem (even though your mommy instinct knew that was what it was already). This bar length issue has got to be the biggest hidden secret that orthotists need to know about! > > Just a reminder I guess - we talk about it a lot - but Everett has started to not sleep so well. > > Tonight we looked in to the bar length and it definately needed extended! Last night when he woke up (in the middle of the night) and we were at witts end with him not sleeping I suggested to dh that tomorrow we'd check the length of his bar. > > Well hearing that, Everett's cranky face totally changed to a big happy grin and he began to repeat, " Check bar! Shoes off! Shoes hurt! " like he was so happy we had communicated to each other what he was unable to tell us himself. So last night I took the brace off and let it go. > > The proof is in the pudding of course, he just went to bed for the night but ya, the bar was definately out grown. > > s. > >
