Guest guest
I'm very familiar with Maurice's books, but not with DTT-NET? What does it stand for? If you know of a web site for further info would you please post it? Congratulations on your successes with your son!!!!! Sharon in Virginia > I read Maurice's book and her manual. Discrete Trial Teaching - Natural Environment Training. I do modified, not specifically according to " official protocol " . Here is a message board for more info on the " official protocol " . http://groups.yahoo.com/group/DTT-NET/ There is a FAQ document in the files section at this site. Basically what I do, instead of sitting at a table, I would teach the concepts when they arise. For example, I don't sit and ask him about colors or objects, but if I saw one on the floor [or I would " plant " one there], I would " do a drill " right there. We select shirts by color and design when he is getting dressed, we learn to count by counting chips or pieces of wooden railroad. It is integrated within his day, not sitting at a table.
