I drank a lot of Propel fitness water, jello, beef and chicken broth

(swansons already prepared in a resealable container, Crystal Lite

Sunrise...diluted 1/3 juice to 2/3 water, ummm...I added knox nutra

joint powder to my juice for extra protein.

My mom stayed with me and was a great resource. She used propel for

half of the water content in making the jello, and it made it less

sugar free tasting, tho propel is LOW in calories..only 10 per

serving, and it has B vitamins.

I live by my propel, have it with me all the time, and am thankful I

found it...long before surgery. It got me off of pop all together.

I still have 1 cup of coffee in the morning, and now eat soft foods.

I haven't found anything that didnt agree as of yet, but each day a

new food to try. Today I had some garlic shrimp, and all went well.

Biggest tip I could give at this point....drink slowly and when you

start to eat " food " make sure you CHEW CHEW CHEW and then Chew some

more. I have also found that aside from drinking with my meal as per

dr. order, it doesnt sit well with me...even a sip. I haven't

experienced any dumping or vomiting from something disagreeing with

me...I drank a couple sips after eating...and the sips came back

up...but not the food (thank goodness). Other than that, all has

gone remarkably well. My incision is almost completely closed and

looks great.

Bottom line, do what your doc suggests...his program is based on his

knowledge and experience, and with good reasons for his suggestions.

Good Luck...See you on the " losing " side soon.
