Guest guest
The free plastic surgery excess skin to burn victums is a well circulated rumor. Most of burn patients are getting a new technology in the shape of a thin mesh of skin cells grown in a lab. The other source of skin is from cadavers. In any case, free plastic surgery isn't one of them. There may be teaching hospital willing to waive the surgeon's fee (not hospital, anesthesa, or OR room and supplies fees) to have surgeons in training do the procedures. For me I wouldn't want to walk around with a botched boob job, or frankin thighs to save a few hundred bucks. my 02. > > I'd like to add that there are some children's hospitals that will > pay for > > your plastic surgery if you donate the excess skin to their burn > centers. > > Micky > > locks of love > > > > > > > If people are going to cut their hair, Isuggest they check with > their > > hairdressers about locks for love. Guest guest
You don't want to go to Mt Sinai then, you'll have interns coming out of your ears. However, they are great when you feel like griping about the crappy service you get there. They can't do anything but it is a relief to get that crap off your chest. > In a message dated 9/10/01 3:33:16 PM Eastern Daylight Time, > editorking@h... writes: > > << There may be teaching hospital willing to waive the surgeon's fee (not > hospital, anesthesa, or OR room and supplies fees) to have surgeons in > training do the procedures.
