I want the skinny!

Ok, all you fantastic post-op people. I would like to have a blow-by-blow

account of your surgical experience, the day of surgery from the time you

entered the hospital, until you left the hospital. What happened before

surgery? How scarey was it to go into that operating room? What was it like

to wake up from surgery? How much pain were you in? what could you have or

not have to drink, etc.? When you got home,what did you do as far as

drinking, eating, etc. I have learned a lot from all the various posts, but

I would like to get a " feel " for " what its like to have DS surgery " - sort of

a " dear diary " --- " I woke up this morning and drove to the hospital. When I

got there......etc. etc. "

I hope i am making my request clear - I don't necc want an account of your

hospital stay regarding nurses, etc. - I would like to know what feelings you

had, any pain you had, how many days were you in the hospital and did you eat

anything at all while in the hospital? what adjustments you had to make when

you first got home post-op, etc. etc. etc.

Waiting with baited breath to get the " skinny " poop (a little DS humor here

lol)
