Hello. My daughter is about to receive her DOC band on Feb. 9th. I have had a number of people who know about her torticollis and brachycephaly tell me I need to take her to an Osteopathic Doctor before I "resort" to helmet therapy. I'm frustrated that people feel the need to give me unsolicited advice. But I'm also curious as to what other's experiences are and if anyone has tried this treatment? From what I've read it seems that Cranial Osteopathy is at odds with helmet therapy and traditional cranial sacral therapy. I hate that people are causing me to question whether or not we're doing the right thing. I just want to have all the information I need to make the best choice for my daughter. Any thoughts or opinions are welcomed.Thank you!Mindi
