I don't know if you doing any other diet restrictions and what you

mean about solid foods ( consistency versus clear fluids or full

liquid or soft diet).

Maybe some natural baby foods like pureed pears or apples depending

on if he or she has any other food restrictions.

You might be able to make a broth soup out of stewed tomatoes etc.

What about GFCF ice cream or a type of shake. If he can have shakes

you can puree some fruit in there.

Hope that helps

jeneane,

Thanks for the suggestions. I am waiting to hear from the nurse, but I

believe that from 2pm the day before surgery he cannot have solid food.

I think he can have popsicles, water, juice, broth, and jello as long as

nothing is red. I did buy some Pacific foods vegetable broth and it is

gfcf. However, he has never had any of the above mentioned items in his

diet to begin with. Maybe he will get desperate though....
