Guest guest
Back to the subject of French fries, I tried this today and it worked just *great.* Golden crispy fries that were *just right,* with no draining or much cooling needed. I baked them in a single layer at 450 degrees for about ten minutes, and only cooled them for as long as it took to heat oil in a skillet. The suggestion to put garlic powder over them added to the success. I cooked them in hot oil for just a few moments until they looked gorgeous. My autistic son, who has been off limp pasty fries, gobbled them up! Looks like I'm going to have to keep great big bags in the freezer!
