My thigh lift involved incisions along the inner thighs and pubic

area. These incisions look worse than the ones for my other

procedures probably because of the pressure put on them in order to

sit, stand or walk. It takes awhile for these incisions to heal and

yes, I had to wear a compression garment that went almost to my

knees. It was crotch-less so I had to wear it all the time except

for laundering. And, I feel that it really did help with the

healing as there is so much pressure on that area when you walk or

sit. The garment helped to hold things all together! I was able to

walk the day after surgery but bent over due to the tummy tuck I

also had at the same time. The first week is the hardest and things

get progressively better. I am now about one month out from surgery

and still feel some discomfort but it is not too bad. I went back

to work after 3 weeks but it was too soon for me as I don't handle

pain well!!
