Swinng Pools and chlorine

Hello again folks,

My 3 year old ASD son Nicky loves our swimming pool. Over the past

couple of months my other children have taught him to swim wearing a

life vest. We are very pleased and feel that this is great therapy.

However, I have noticed that he licks his life jacket quite a bit and

probably is ingesting a good bit of pool water.

Any thoughts on what effect this could have? Lately he has been waking

at night with what appears to be a stomach ache. He is not very verbal

so we can't be sure, but he is obviously uncomforable.
