Do you have another word processing program like WordPerfect?? There my be a

Word " viewer " available. Someone who has downloaded and saved those files

may also be able to convert them for you to a readable format. I wondered

why someone didn't just take a few extra minutes to convert those Word files

to HTML. I'd volunteer to convert it if someone else will upload them.

computer is really having trouble opening programs. I have somehow lost or

never had programs that read many of what you all write your comments in.

I think I need to get Microsoft Office or ??? to be able to really download

these documents. Any other suggestions.

Yeah Barbara! Congratulations on no longer being obese! I'm looking forward to the day I can say that too. :)

Update

Hi all,

I know I havent posted in a while, I've been swamped with work and pretty much just lurking, but I wanted to share with everyone my newest accomplishment. As of today, I am officially only overweight - no longer obese. I still have 22.5 lbs to go to get me into "normal" but at about 7 months out I am about at the goal that Dr. Fisher set for me. I am so excited. Hope everyone is doing well and for those of your still working toward surgery, keep going, it's the best thing that ever happened to me.

Barbara:

You would have ever thought that being " over weight " would be an

accomplishment?! I'm so happy for you.

Aren't we lucky to have this space where we all know that getting

down to being " over weight " is an occasion to share joy?

Woo hoo for you!

Wow, Barbara, I remember when we were posting about your surgery.

What great news! Keep up the good work - you're an inspiration to

all of us still struggling to get to that surgery date!

Sigh, unfortunately due to my lack of height, I may never get to

normal according to the charts. Even at my lowest of 150 I was still

considered obese. I would have to get to 125 to be considered normal.

PC still having issues. My balance is greatly improved. Memory is still tore up.

Still fighting depression. O good news almost a year nicotine free. I am weaning

off Prednisone the med I love to hate. Through diet I have lost almost 70 lbs of

the 100 lbs I gained in the Hospital. adding more cardio but is is hard the

combo of Humira, Imuran, and Prednisone sure saps my energy level down. Sorry I

have not been on much. I am fightinf to get this PC working properly. May need

to save up and buy a new one. I hope to see my North Texas Sarc friends at the

Support Group meeting on Feb 6.

I hope and pray all my friends out there will be blessed with health and

wellness.
