Guest guest
, I just want to BACK up what you are saying. I actually joined this group over 3 years ago to find help for my daughter. About 7 mos. ago I had to cancel my membership because the board very rarely has any clubfoot related issues on it anymore and my box was constantly full. It just takes sooooo long to go through each message and find out who needs actual support or help. I think it is awesome that the board has brought so many people together. Alot of moms have met people and become friends.......I think that once that happens people need to exchange email addresses or instant message! For new members to come on the board and read through the first pages of messages and find NOTHING related to clubfoot that may make them look elsewhere. Just a thought from me too..... & Grace > > Hi all my clubfoot mom (and dad) friends (she says with some > trepidation)...I'm just gonna go ahead and say this and if you all > want to tell me to put a sock in it, go on -- I noticed that we have > been having a lot of Off Topic chat lately, which PLEASE don't get me > wrong, I love chatting with you all about all the other parenting > stuff besides the whole CF thing but I just thought I would point out > that poor Isabella has these awful awful sores and DeeDee posted last > night that her heels were not staying down in her Markells and we > missed it. > Now since I'm not a moderator here or anything I don't know if I > should even be putting this out there, M you can shoot down > this post for sure if you think I'm out of line, but I just wanted to > remind everyone of our ultimate goal here, um, helping clubfoot babies > and their parents so bad stuff doesn't happen to them. > Gosh I don't want to be a big downer, and shoot, I know you all are > going to not talk to me now but I just thought it should be said. Guest guest
Kori- I joined--I think membership needs to be moderated somehow just due to all the sick/crazy people that are out there. Just an idea since we have gotten some interesting people trying to join CFPics! kathleen > > >, > > > I just want to BACK up what you are saying. Guest guest
> Another idea for those with full mailboxes is to use your email > program's filtering and sorting features. This will take all posts > from any particular person/group address or whatever (you decide how > to filter) and will automatically put posts into a separate mailbox > or folder so that you can choose to read a list/group at your > leisure. For example, you filter all mail sent to > *nosurgery4clubfoot * into the nosurgery mailbox or > folder. Then when you open your email all your personal emails are > in your inbox, and when you have time you can read the nosurgery > list. Then, you can do a mass delete of that whole box when you want > to. Or you could just read directly from the list as I do, just save it to your favorites or bookmark it. & Grace
