Guest guest
I am not the person who originally wrote about this, but here is what I know. IF your child qualifies and is entitled to free or reduced-cost breakfast and/or lunch provided by the school, AND IF you have something in writing from a doctor [prescription form usually, or form from the school signed by the doctor] which indicates your child has special dietary requirements, then the school is required to provide your child with a breakfast and/or lunch [depending on what s/he qualifies for] which meets those dietary requirements. You would have to check the meal tho, because sometimes it will be a salad every day or something like that, if your district is one of the " bad " ones. I don't know how much other " elaboration " you would need for this. If this description does not answer your question, please be more specific in what you need to know. > Some one wrote about the Fed funded school lunch > program. THey said something about the school legally > having to make a special diet for the child if they > have the proper forms from doctors etc. Could you > elaborate on that. > Thanks LeAnne > > __________________________________________________ >
