Carol,

I am glad she is doing better, hopefully she is getting adjusted to it

and will start being her happy self soon!

Let us know if you continue experiencing problems and we will try to

help you sort it out.

Carol, if the center screws are 8 " apart then I think it's about where it should

be. Marcus's shoulders easily fit between the heels at that length apart. Also,

if you keep that red area on her foot cushioned with a soft gauze, it should be

fine. I know what you mean by the whole " all over eczema " thing. We're having

the same problem with Marcus. I've found the only thing that is helping is

Aquaphor ointment. It really takes care of it, except that once you stop using

it, the eczema comes back. I haven't found anything else that works.

I remeasured the bar length (the correct way, from the middle of one

heel to the middle of the other from the screws), and it is 8 inches.

I think this is the shortest bar that comes with the shoes

since it is on the shortest setting. Longer did seem to make her even

madder so I think this is the right length for us.

Since her foot is still a bit red on the side and on her crazy big

toe, I wrapped her foot in soft gauze (casting gauze) to see if that

helps. She has sensitive skin so I think bandaids will irritate it.

We are already dealing with a whole body eczema case and I don't want

to do anything else to irritate her skin. Poor !
