Hi Sherry:

You definitely deserve congrats, you look wonderful

and it sounds like you have a whole new life.

I just wanted you to know that I found your website

way back at the beginning of the year (Feb or March??)

when I started investigating wls. I was looking at

the rny, mostly because that was what everyone was

doing when I found you! Because of you I started

reading about the DS, then my own Dr. told me to go

see Dr. Rabkin in SF.

I just wanted to thank you, and everyone else who's

shared their experiences via profiles, web site and

these groups. I remember looking at pictures and

reading people's profiles and crying...cuz they're

experiences were so similar to what I was going

through. Only I had no idea (duh) that so much of my

daily agonies were actually due to my weight -

actually I did know on some level, but had been

unwilling to accept that I was MO and needed help.

Now I'm just waiting for my consult, then surgery. I

can't wait and am looking forward to being able to

" get a bunch of congrats " as well.
