The extra weight in my arms and upper body caused the blood to be restricted in certain positions. The numbness would get so bad that I would wake up with horrible pain in my arms and they would be blue. It was awful. I would have to sleep with a pillow propping my arms in certain positions. Even with that I would still wake a lot at night with problems. It has gotten so much better and I can actually sleep all night. Kathy M. Guest guest
Hi Jen- I had to read your message a couple of times to realize that I didn't post it! I used to be Jen too, and I was going to post the same question about the tingling arms! This has actually gotten steadily worse for me over the past year...where I now take either a tylenol pm, a prescribed motrin or whatever other drugs i can get my hands on. Geez, between the bathroom trips and the tingly problem, drugs are the only way I can get a decent nights sleep. Someone mentioned the cause may be a pinched nerve, but the blood flow thing seems to make more sense in my case. Jenn Gil > 2.
