Guest guest
Hello All..If you have been following my recent posts, you know that I have had a HUGE disappointment in having my surgery scheduled for Mondy 9/24 " indefinitely cancelled " at the last minute by Dr. Gagner. In preparation for a possible need to seek another surgeon, I would like to hear directly from those of you who have had Dr. Hess in Bowling Green, Ohio. I live in upstate New York. I will not give up on having DS surgery until my questions are answered. Please Help! Alice in Upstate New York

His office may give you Dr. Hess's home phone number to talk to him directly. I would consult with him about your difficulties because he is very dedicated to this procedure. Also, as you can see by the patient he operated on earlier this week, he is also dedicated to helping the morbidly obese. Despite the fact that was a tremendous risk (he said she had a 50% chance of dying during surgery) to his " stats " he was willing to do her surgery because she wanted it AND her prognosis was grave without it. He made the case with the anethesioligist to get him to agree to the procedure. So if there is anyway that surgery is better for your health in the long run, he will help you.
