Guest guest
Hey ... well, today I did pretty good food-wise. My sister and I shared an omlette for breakfast with a little potatoes, fresh fruit and an english muffin (dry). Then we went to Bodega Bay and ate nothing. The ocean was GREAT! But ya know, walking in sand is A LOT harder when you are as big as I am. I sink a lot with each step. It was a very difficult work-out, but I made it all the way to water, walked a bit and stood watching the kids play, the birds, and just enjoying the coastal atmosphere. I was in heaven and never gave food a thought. We took the long way home through Sebastopol and Santa , north to Mark West and over to Calistoga. Down the Napa Valley and decided to stop for a very late lunch at Rutherford Grille. There, I at an entire rack of baby back ribs. I know I went a little overboard on that, but I was only satified when I left... not uncomfortably full. We went home to Napa and looked at some bicycles. That's in the near future. Once home, we relaxed a while and cooled down... geez it was HOT today. About an hour ago, I ate 1/2 of a banana nut muffin I had split with someone earlier and some fresh fruit. I know I indulged some today, but overall, I feel I did well. I sorta planned to splurge some today anyway. So I had a wonderful time today, and stayed away from the bad foods for the most part. Oh, and I lived in Bodega, Bodega Bay and Pacifica at different times. I long for the days in Pacifica. Ron Re: Re: Ron Ron; You are doing great I'm so glad for you one day at a time that's what works for me. Donna J told me when I was at her house a couple of weeks ago that sugar free fudgecicles are the bomb I have never ate any of this stuff that is sugar free I just cut out the sugar because I did not like the after taste or I just couldn't get used to it Then Robynn is putting it out there so I could see the light bulb and I bought some Hey they're not bad pretty good as a matter of fact now that's all that is in the house the grand kids love them. As far as the weight shows go I only like to watch if they have some interest for me in them I really don't like to watch if they are just showing an over weight person in a degrading way that's to depressing for me. The show Sunday really had a lot of knowledge for me as far as the lymphedemas goes I was diagnosed with this before surgery and after surgery all the swelling went down in my legs I no longer got the oozing sores and I didn't have to have my legs wrapped. I just assumed the surgery took care of it and after the show sunday night i went on the internet and looked up lymphedema and found out it doesn't go away but can be controlled so i made a Dr's. appt to check all this out.My new PCP listens to me my old one thought I was a hypochondriac but we found out I wasn't when I had gallbladder and hernia surgery. Sorry for going on so long guess I feel like talking today. I know your B-day was a good lean one and a happy on because you were at the ocean where did you live at on the ocean? Take care glad you are back on track I have the faith you will do it this time. T
