Guest guest
Joanna I've been using liquid minerals from BodyBio/Elyte. Plus I use Elyte and make my own electrolyte drink as my body requires frequent electrolyte boosting. I have some neuromuscular or metabolic " thing " going on [grin]. I have been very pleased with the BodyBio liquid minerals. Here's a link (no affiliation, just a happy customer): http://www.bodybio.com/storecategory110.aspx So far I'm successfully using magnesium, potassium and iodine. I'm still researching the other available minerals to discover if I need them too. The liquid minerals are better tolerated by my body than oral, I don't have to deal with an irritated bladder or overworked kidneys, nor any immune response which often occurs after taking a multivitamin. I continue to take a children's multivitamin once a week for the vitamins (children's because the doses are small so are better tolerated), but I'm constantly on the lookout for legal liquid vitamins. Oh, and I'm B12 deficient, so I give myself a shot once a month; the oral form of B12 doesn't do anything for my levels. If I can get things directly into my bloodstream, my body is so much happier! I'll be curious what my next blood work shows for mineral levels; I'll have that done in June. I'm hoping some of the mineral numbers will have increased a bit after 6 months on the liquid minerals. So interesting. > > Kim- I am curious about your research- do you have a liquid mulitvitamin that you like? I hate the idea of trying to get these vitamins/minerals in my body and then just excreting them. > -Joanna > > SCD 9/2009, Crohn's 1992, 30mg Prednisone > >
