I don't get it?!? We didn't have to pay a dime for our sons shoes! Hanger here

in MI (we went to the Waterford office) definatly had never seen or delt with

these shoes before. When I first called to make the impression appointment they

had know idea what kind of shoes I was talking about or who Dr. Ponseti was!!! I

called the Hanger office in Coralville, Iowa (where works?) and spoke to

the nicest lady (as all the people in Iowa are!). She said she would give my

Hanger office a call and explain everything and call me right back, and she did,

about 5 minutes later and said I'm all set and I should just call the local

office back and they would make my appointment. Which is exactly what happened.

The only thing that Hanger asked me to do was to get a RX from Dr. Ponseti,

which of course I did. I was never asked for any payment, but $300 something

sounds familiar, although that could have been what I saw on the paperwork from

Iowa for our first pair. I'll have to go back and look

at my BCBS stuff to see if a different amount was billed for this second pair.

If anyone has any other questions I'd be happy to answer whatever I can. Our
