Guest guest
Jacque, I'm self-employed and carry my own insurance. Although it would have been much cheaper, for this very reason, I absolutely would not go with an HMO. I must have choice. I have no doubt that we know more about " us " than 90% of the doctors out there. I know many people simply don't have the option of chosing their own insurance, so I think you really should get an attorney to send a nice threatening letter on his or her own letterhead. Maybe have him cc your State Dept. of Insurance and also, just for good measure, your Congressman and of course, attach the supporting evidence from your Gastro doc and any others stating the need for a revision. When I get frustrated like this, I just bypass the little yes-men and go right to the top. Whatever happens, happens, but it just makes me feel better to be the mouse that roared. I think we know you well enough by now to know that you're not the type to take crap from anyone <BG>, but sometimes, it's easier for us to help others than ourselves. Good luck, in NJ ********************************* > My doctor is a legend in his own mind. And he doesn't just treat ME that way, he treats my hubby that way too
