Guest guest
Before coming to this website, I'd never heard of lacteese drops. Is this something readily available in health food stores? And it actually makes cream legal??? I'd rather just drink it black. Fresh almond milk is good in coffee, or depening how advanced you are you can buy some lacteeze drops (or whatever brand you like) and put a couple drops into a little bit of cream or half and half for 24-48 hours to give it plenty of time to break down the lactose. Then use that in your coffee. Coffee has always given me a reaction.... Guest guest
here's a link to the lactaid equivalent.http://www.lactaid.ca/en/prod-drops.aspThere's a few different brands and I haven't found it in a store, only on amazon or other internet sites. You can use it to make cream "legal" because it will break down all the lactose, but you are left with a massive amount of sugars. This is one reason you should only use it in coffee and such and not use it to drink a glass of milk. You could try it an see, but if you don't react to coffee I assume you're doing pretty good.-UC - 1+ yearsSCD - 8 months 100% strict and 4 months restricted diet.Asacol - 12 pills a day Prednisone 40mg entocort With vit E mixed inBack to intro/stage 1 for now.To: BTVC-SCD ; btvc-scd From: darleneryan@...Date: Sat, 27 Mar 2010 12:08:19 -0700Subject: Re: canned coconut milk Before coming to this website, I'd never heard of lacteese drops. And it actually makes cream legal??? It makes SMALL amounts of cream, to be used in coffee or tea, legal. You cannot use it for half & half or milk. — Marilyn New Orleans, Louisiana, USA Undiagnosed IBS since 1976, SCD since 2001 Darn Good SCD Cook No Human Children Shadow & Sunny Longhair Dachshund Babette the Foundling Beagle
