Guest guest
I've been reading a few months, June 3 had me a year out from my Rny. From surgery, I'm down to 170 from 328 (I'm 5'6) - and was surprised to lose three pounds last week :I . I thought I was 'stable' until my hopeful and much anticipated panniculectomy (awaiting insurance approval. awaiting insurance to acknowledge my paperwork requesting the okay!). At any rate, I'm wearing a size 10/12 and astounded at the wonder of it all! I have really found this site valuable - I never got around to mailing in a photo for the AMOS site, and that seems to make a big difference in responses and acceptance. The chat room was always a big joke and great way to be ignored. The site was great for information as a pre-op and new post-op...but I crave the comraderie that I've seen cycle in local groups and hope to see again. I really believe that to some extent we all have to discover what works best for each of us in becoming healthy long-term...but have struggled with sites and do-gooders who KNOW the best and ONLY way for all. I am so glad to be here and finally be Legal for posting!' Mendi 06/03/02 - Oklahoma -
