Guest guest
Well, my mother had her revision/hernia repair yesterday. All went well, and she should be out of the hospital late tomorrow or noon Monday. She'll be coming home to stay with me for a few days. I need to keep an eye on her because I think she's planning on doing too much too soon. Daughter becomes the mother. She's a very young 65, and thinks she can slay dragons... As for my revision/gall bladder surgery, I'm feeling very good about it. When I spoke with her surgeon yesterday, he asked if I've had mine done yet, and told me that he had discussed my case with my surgeon. Mom's surgeon was the assisting surgeon on both our original by-pass surgeries. I was surprised to learn that my surgeon had actually done as I requested and called him. He pulled all my old surgical records, scope reports, and did the scan on my gall bladder, before he made a decision on whether or not I was a good candidate for this surgery. FINALLY, a doctor that actually listened to me! I have more confidence in this doctor than any I've seen in a LONG time, and I'm looking forward to my surgery, with the hopes that my days of vomiting bile will soon be over.
