Ghirardelli states on their bags now that they have a cross contamination

problem and that traces of dairy and gluten may be found in their chips. I

was disappointed when I read this but it goes to show we have to keep up

with these manufacturers.

The only time that soy cannot be used is during passover as it is a

legume which cannot be eaten during the duration of the Passover holiday.

Hah,

Funny that I'm giving information about kosher-ness. I'm not kosher and

never have been; but I do know (or think I know) a couple of the basic

rules. As far as I know, anything from the plant kingdom is kosher. So soy

should be perfectly fine.
