Hi everyone,

Locks of Love has a website. You don't have to have your hair cut at

a " participating " hair salon, just have whomever cuts the hair put it

in one or more ponytails before they snip. The address for sending

it in and guidelines for what they accept (minimum length is 10

inches from tip to tip) is on their site.

Definitely a worthy cause if you are thinking about cutting long

hair. I cut my long hair 6 years ago but thought it seemed like such

a waste to throw it all out, so I threw the ponytails in a ziplock

bag. Last year I found out about Locks of Love and sent mine in.

Glad someone could benefit.

> If people are going to cut their hair, Isuggest they check with

their hairdressers about locks for love. Fantastic Sams is in the

program but I'm sure others hairdressers are in the program too. You

have to donate at least 10 inches of hair. The hair is used to make

wigs for children who have had chemotherapy and have lost all their

hair.
