Hi Gunn,

I'm sorry to hear about your problem with numbness in your thighs. I

haven't had the surgery yet, but I know the symptoms. Did you have a

spinal for your anesthesia? Whether you did or didn't your symptoms

sounds like nerve compression. Give it all some time for the

swelling to go down. I have a vertebrae that comes out of alignment

all the time, it is quite painful, but when I get my period, its

worse. You wouldn't think one part of the body wouldn't affect the

other, but it does. Best of luck to you on your new life and keep the

group posted to let us know your progress. Us preops need to know

everything we can. Hope you feel better.
