So Marilyn if the water measured

this right before I give the yogurt to my son.

The best incubation temperature for SCD yogurt is between 100F and 110F.

I haven't had any problems with my Yogourmets, but some which were

produced after 2005 appear to run hotter than that. Some people purchase

a dimmer switch to reduce the power so the temperature stays in the

proper range. It is usually best to test with a container of water and

find out what it takes to maintain your unit's proper

temperature.
