Guest guest
Hi, guys! starting wearing her beautiful shoes Monday night. I know that her heel will drop since I read other posts (Thank goodness you guys talked about that recently, I would have been freaking out!)- I take the shoes off regularly to check her feet. She has developed deep red marks across the end of her feet where the seam of the sock lays. The shoes aren't too tight (they are snug, but not tight). I am so worried that these could start becoming actual (open skin) sores soon. I will pad them with gauze, but any suggestions? She is wearing the thinner Old Navy socks with the skid-proof bottom. Would thicker socks be better or worse (the seam is pretty much the same in the thicker socks, and it was in the thicker socks that she developed her bad pressure sore a couple of months ago in the Markells)? She has been sleeping so well in these wonderful s, so I know that it is not hurting her, but the crease may be sort of a nuisance. I just want to halt it before it does develop into something worse. Any thoughts? Thank you! ( 2/1/05 bcf: s 22/7)
Guest guest
Old Navy - I think they're the best and very cheap. small seams. So I wouldn't change the socks at all. But your answer is to pull the socks out very loose over the toes. Blouse them so to speak. It's ok if they look funny, just pull the seams out where they don't go inside the leather and that'll stop. Guest guest
Jen, Can you tug on the sock to pull the seam forward (so there's some extra sock sticking out in front of her toes instead of fitting tight)? > > Hi, guys! starting wearing her beautiful shoes Monday > night.
