Guest guest
Good Luck to you, and congratulations to your frtend Love and Hugs to all http://phoenixrisng.www6.50megs.com http://ca.geocities.com/phoenixrisngca/blue.html -- How Many Inchstones To The Milestone Howdy, all. I'm new. Had my first discussion with my PCP on Tuesday. She's agreed to refer me. Today, I talked to my HMO, TriCare Prime (I'm retired military). News there is pretty good. Seems that ALL " gastric bypass " surgery is under one code. That means that the specific type of surgery is not an issue. BPD/DS or RNY...makes no never mind. THAT is good news. My partner, , is 8 weeks post op with an RNY. She's doing great and is creeping up on the 40 pound mark AND going under 200 mark. There WILL be celebration when she makes both of those inchstones. As for me, I knew I couldn't do the RNY early on. Just didn't appeal to me. Just found out about the DS recently, and it's changed my whole outlook about WLS. I can live with the limitations or restrictions that a DS imposes on your life and lifestyle. Not so with the RNY. Still seeking a surgeon. From Tallahassee, I can go in a couple of directions. I don't think there's anyone doing DS procedures near me. Mississippi seems to be the closest...Dr. Booth's office. Next step...find out if Dr. Booth will accept Tricare. God, I hope so! Be talkin' to you..................Webridr ----------------------------------------------------------------------
Guest guest
Hi.. welcome to the group.. I am having DS with Dr. Booth next tuesday.. I cant wait... I agree with you, the DS is much more attractive and very, very effective. If there are any specifics I can help you with, dont hesitate to send me a private email.. Dr. Booth will take any insurance, I think.. Good luck! Sue. > Howdy, all. I'm new. Had my first discussion with my PCP on > Tuesday. She's agreed to refer me.
