Guest guest
Hey Jane, I guess one thing I'll be asking my oral surgeon when I see him on Monday is if I can use a straw. My discharge instructions said I couldn't, which is weird since when I talked to the OS before surgery he said it was OK. Oh well.... Went out to the Japanese/Korean restaurant today. I had some dinner at home (blenderized, of course), but was starving by the time I got to the restaurant. Husband was such a troupper - didn't order anything, even though I know he wanted to. But he felt too sorry for me . I ended up ordering miso soup, taking all the seaweed out of it, crushing tofu, and drinking it. It was good, but I didn't realize piece of tofu was stuck to my upper teeth until I got home. No that I did much smiling anyway, since it hurts like hell. I'm also still numb, but primarily in my lower lip and chin, and more on the left side than the right. They moved my lower jaw back and to the left (like yours). I seem to have feeling in my upper face, I only have weird feeling where I'm swollen. My chin also feels very warm and heavy, and I think I've gotten some sensation in it in the last week - hope it keeps progressing. Hopefully by the time you get unwired you'll have significantly more feeling. Irene. > > I was just thinking this wednesday will be 3 weeks wired:21 days. I > can't believe it myself.
