Guest guest
I got my date last week, it's July 22, I am greatly looking forward to it. We do have an nice group here, but I have certainly learned allot from lurking, and adding a bit now and then. I see the surgeon this week. They have been doing the surgery here about a year, and have over 80 " graduates " My husband is very supportive of me having the surgery and quite willing to forgo eating the type of meals we usually have. Actually, most will probably be fine once I get on real food, but my amounts will have to be curtailed. He also realizes that if I can't eat it I wont cook it, so pickins will be slim for a while. I really haven't told many of my family, only my husband and daughter and some real friends, they all are excited for me. Like everyone, I've been through countless diets, and have lost a lot of weight over the years. Of course I gained it all back, and that is my biggest worry re the sugary. I've approached it as having to give up food, like I gave up smoking years ago, and it took quite a few months to decide to do this. The group has been very instrumental in my decision. s Point, WI Surgeon - Dr Reising date, July 22. 278# goal?
