She's been out of the brace since she was two and half. At that time,Dr. Ponseti released her early due to loose ligaments. > That is wonderful that you have found such a good dr. for Grant!! Grant sees a few different specialists for various issues, but he's been doing very well. We just had the tenotomy, which went well, and in January he'll be having surgery to reconstruct a urethral stricture. Grant has a shunt for hydrocephalus, and we've been trying to make sure that is working. > Sounds like he is getting big =) 15 pds at 10 weeks, wow! Nice that > his feet are progressing so well. The child is a monster! He was weighed before the tenotomy yesterday, and he weighed 16 pounds! Now that he has the big casts on, he weighs even more. I can't carry him around in the carrier. > Good luck with the tenotomy and let us know how it goes! Thank you! I took Grant out of his casts the night before the appointment at the hotel. That was... interesting. LOL His feet turned back in rapidly, so it took us a couple of casts to get back to where we were when we got back home. I think the hardest thing for me this time around is adjusting to the fact that clubfoot with sb is different than clubfoot on its own. > I'm SO glad too that Rose had a good checkup! Can you believe Rose's birthday is coming up, and she'll be 7? We've " known " each other a long time! > Grant is really growing! what a sweetheart.. I'm eager to hear how it > goes on Tuesday with the tenotomy etc. Please let us know! I wrote a post, but it did go well. He's such smiley thing and charmed all the nurses.
